Aromatherapy Practitioners’ Association of Malaysia
Persatuan Pengamal Aromaterapi (Aromatherapy Practitioners’ Association of Malaysia-APAM) (PPM-010-14-13122019) is a not-for-profit association registered under the Registry of Societies Malaysia, with an objective to identify and establish standards of care and practice for Aromatherapy Practitioners in Malaysia, for the clinical aromatherapy community to grow as a profession, and being one of the complementary medicine modalities.
The Malaysian Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) Act 2016 [Act775] regulates the T&CM services and practices in Malaysia. The Federation of Complementary and Natural Medical Associations of Malaysia (FCNMAM) is appointed as one of the designated practitioner bodies by the T&CM Council as specified under the T&CM Act. APAM is an Associate Member of the FCNMAM.
马来西亚芳疗从业者协会（Persatuan Pengamal Aromaterapi / Aromatherapy Practitioners’ Association of Malaysia，简称APAM, PPM-010-14-13122019）是一个在马来西亚社团注册局注册登记的非盈利机构，目的是鉴定与设立马来西亚芳疗从业者的护理和执业标准，让芳疗的临床实践发展成为一们专业的辅助医学领域。

Members of APAM are subject to the Traditional & Complementary Medicine (“T&CM”) 775 Act, an Act to provide for the establishment of the T&CM Council under the Ministry of Health to regulate the traditional and complementary medicine services in Malaysia. By joining APAM, members are required to uphold high professional standards of practice in rendering of services. This increases the public or clients’ confidence of the members in practice.
APAM的会员受传统与辅助医学法令【第775条法案】的管制。传统与辅助医学法令规定卫生部传统与辅助医学委员会的成立，以管制马来西亚的传统与辅助医学服务领域。通过加入APAM，会员必需在提供服务的过程中维护高专业度的执业标准，因此提高大众或客户对于执业会员的信心。
APAM provides assistance in professional developments for its members, as well as updates about legislation affecting aromatherapy as one of the modalities of T&CM in Malaysia.
APAM提供会员专业发展培训，也给会员提供有关传统与辅助医学法规之更新内容。作为马来西亚传统与辅助医学其中之一门领域，芳疗将受法规条文的影响。
Qualified APAM Ordinary Members are entitled to a free listing on the “Find an Aromatherapy Practitioner” in APAM website.

APAM provides members with the access to trainings / courses / workshops / seminars as part of continuous professional development.

For the public, they are assured that their aromatherapists are qualified to serve them. Our graduates are trained to take a holistic approach to each client.
They take a full case history and match the client’s physical and emotional needs with many possible essential oil combinations. As each essential oil has a distinct composition and therapeutic action, the skill of the Aromatherapist is to match a blend of essential oils with the client’s needs.
Our graduates will be fully aware of any safety issues with their treatment plan and will discuss these fully with you. You will be confident of an effective and safe experience. Our Code of Practice also ensures that you will be treated in a confidential and professional manner.
